John really cares about the coffee he roasts, and he cares even more about people within this community. He's a delightful guy! On top of that, the coffee is amazing. I tend to go for a lighter roast and I grind my beans at home. I pick up what I need as I need it - but there is always a wide variety of roasts available, sourced responsibly and sustainability from all around the world. Buy a bag of beans or have it ground before you go!

We are very fortunate to have John Joseph coffee in our community - it’s just the best. Due to health reasons I need to drink half/caf and it’s so nice to be able to choose my favorite grounds to blend rather than big store off the shelf with only one choice. I also love being able to buy fresh coffee at an affordable price.

Best coffee roasters in the area! Don't be put off by the unassuming exterior, once you step inside John Joseph Coffee you're greeted with a friendly Midwest chic atmosphere, smelling of the delicious fresh roasted coffee beans that are sold here. They always have a pot ready to go if you're just in need of a refreshing cup of coffee, but I would find it difficult to leave without some Bold Eagle beans for myself at home. There is limited seating but for a small group of friends this would be a nice place to relax and play some of the available board games. I truly can't recommend their coffee enough.

Great, local, family-owned coffee roaster. The interior is a relaxing place to get away from the busy workday, meet friends, and enjoy one of their coffee blends. They have whole bean or ground beans to go, roasted on site (which is the meat and bones of the business), perfect for the parent of a 2 year old, who needs that boost in the morning. Multiple blends available. They have excellent cold brew in the warmer months that beats Starbucks cold brew in taste and quality. One of the nicest families in the Sauk Prairie Area.

The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for unwinding, working, or catching up with friends. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to recommend the perfect brew to suit your preferences. Their selection of dark coffees is impressive. I tried their signature dark roast, and it was a revelation. The depth of flavor, with hints of chocolate and a smooth finish, was truly remarkable. They also offer an array of coffee blends from different regions, and local.

This is a ROASTER, not a cafe! Come for the beans, or pehaps a sample from their drip machine. If you want their beans brewed into a latte, or snacks to go with it, then head over to C2 Juicery, which serves John Joseph. Pound bags at a reasonable price, and they will grind for you. At home it made for an excellent drip coffee cuppa.
